IN the DeeJay's Nightclub League the title race was blown wide open as Panasonic Tavern threw a spanner in the Bellslea goal machine winning 4-1.
All Bellslea's talk of winning the title were dismissed, and the old saying of the league titles are not won in the early part of the season came back to haunt the Bellslea boys.
St Combs' recent improvement continued as they beat Crimond 4-0, while
Clinton Thistle kept their league dream alive putting six past a young Mormond team.

Elizabethan Link Up made it through to the semi-finals of the Ship Inn League Cup beating St Drostans 3-1. Rosehearty kept their slim hopes of reaching the last four of the Buchan Cup beating the Belgers 7-2. Rosehearty must win their last two section games to keep the semi final place alive.
